Concealed Shower Valve Kits

The 7475A arrangement shows a round overhead head and round control trim without the lower bath spout pictured in 7476A. Those are different outlet schedules, even though their head and control outlines look similar. Confirm the intended outlet paths before the installer closes the wall.

Models 7480 and 7481 are push-button concealed shower controls. The 7480 picture shows rectangular button faces; 7481 shows a rounded button profile. Both control the shower on/off function.

In contrast, 7490 and 7491 have rectangular plates with lever handles, while 7492 and 7493 use round plates. A smaller upper control appears on 7491 and 7493. For a new installation, agree rough-in depth, wall build-up, inlet spacing and service access. Similar plate shapes are not evidence of compatibility. The ordered kit needs an approved parts schedule before it can be treated as a replacement solution.

For a different bath-and-handset layout, review the wall-mounted bath mixer configurations. Keep shower-head connections separate from bath-spout requirements when preparing the drawing. Confirm pressure, temperature control and any proposed simultaneous outlet operation using selected-model information, not the number of controls in a picture.

The VA plumbing design manual provides external installation-design context. It is not a product certificate or a compatibility list for these components. Any required performance or destination-market evidence must refer to the actual valve assembly and its intended application.

What distinguishes 7475A from 7476A?

7476A shows an additional lower bath spout. The 7475A illustration shows the round overhead head and control trim without that component.

What do the buttons on 7480 and 7481 control?

The buttons switch the shower on and off. These are concealed shower controls. Confirm the selected assembly specifications separately; button operation does not establish thermostatic control or simultaneous outlets.
