Concealed Display Shower Sets

Concealed display shower sets 7242A, 7242B and 7242E show a numeric window on horizontal control trim. Each pictured configuration combines a round overhead head, round handset and separate wall-mounted bath spout. This page covers those three versions, not the neighbouring 7241 single-knob family.

Concealed Display Shower Sets: Representative Comparison

The overhead head has a thick circular outline and a short wall mount. Below it, a round handset rests in a separate holder with a hanging hose. This matching round-head arrangement differs visibly from the thin square head and slim handset used by 7241.

The horizontal plate shows three smaller round controls, a dark numeric window and a larger right-side knob. Those details support a description of the panel layout. They do not establish the display power source, measured value, accuracy, electrical requirements or a thermostatic control mechanism.

The bath spout is pictured separately below the controls. Keep it in the requested supply list if the project needs a bath outlet. For a simpler trim arrangement, compare 7241 single-knob shower sets. Use model codes rather than an old LED or smart-system URL as the technical reference.

Complete Catalogue Model List

7242A, 7242B, 7242E.

Reference	Configuration and selection differences
7242A	Bright-appearance round-head set with display window, round handset and separate bath spout.
7242B	Dark-appearance version with the same pictured component layout; confirm the coating specification.
7242E	Grey-appearance version; confirm finish sample, control functions and supplied-parts schedule.

Concealed Display Shower Sets: Installation Review

Before installation, request the display and valve service instructions alongside the rough-in drawing. Confirm access to any serviceable components and whether the selected configuration has electrical requirements. Do not design a power connection from the display appearance alone.

Before closing the wall, approve the rough-in drawing and check finished-wall thickness, pipe connections and access for servicing. Specify supply pressure and available hot-water conditions. The catalogue image is a selection reference, not an installation drawing or a statement of operating limits.

Confirm the complete supply list: concealed body, trim, shower arm, head, handset, holder, hose and bath spout where pictured. Check mounting hardware and connections separately against the approved bill of materials. Review shower installation components when matching replacement or installation parts.

MOQ, Lead Time and Order Details

For shower-set orders, MOQ, production lead time and packing depend on the selected configuration and quotation. Do not apply a separate faucet-series MOQ or delivery schedule to these sets. Send the exact model suffix, quantity and destination before ordering.

Colour in a catalogue image does not establish the coating process, substrate or material grade. Request a finish sample, material schedule and destination-specific documents where required. The VA Plumbing Design Manual offers project design background; it does not certify these products.

To request a selected-model quotation, provide the model code, required finish, supplied-parts list and project drawing. State any required control function or compliance documentation explicitly. Approved drawings and the order specification take precedence over a photograph when confirming production details.

Concealed Display Shower Sets: Buyer Questions

What does the display show?

A numeric window is visible, but the catalogue does not specify its measured value or accuracy. Request the selected-model function sheet.

Is the display powered by water flow?

The picture does not confirm a power source. Obtain the actual technical specification before stating hydropower, battery or mains operation.

Does this page include 7241 models?

No. The current image is cropped to the three 7242 versions. 7241 has a separate product collection and a different control layout.
